Hey Man, Nice Shirt
I've never really thought too much about t-shirts. More often than not I'll just buy them without even trying them on. I've got a drawer full of t-shirts from Gap, Old Navy and even Target. However, they're not what I'd call my favorite shirts. I wear them because they're there, and they're something like $7.50 each, but they're nothing special. Other than plain t-shirts the majority of my other shirts are band related (except for a few Emily Strange and Paul Frank ones which do not fall into this category).Lately I've been delving into the realm of more expensive t-shirts, and I have to say I'm liking it very much. One of my newest t-shirt obsessions is Heavy Rotation. Their designs are rather unique and their t-shirts are high quality and very comfortable. They are very flattering and very soft. I purchased a fleur de lys shirt at Bliss in Fremont (where I paid considerably more than what Heavy Rotation charge on their website) awhile back and it quickly became one of my favorite shirts. I ended up ordering a few more from Heavy Rotation directly, and they arrived yesterday. Again they're flattering, comfy and soft. I think I'm going to end up buying even more. Not to mention the order came with a catalog that is also an "activity book" filled with word finds, sudoku, paper dolls, etc. Very cute.
By far though, my favorite t-shirt of all time would be my short sleeved textured crew from Nation Ltd. It is about the softest, most comfortable t-shirt ever.
Per the website: "Think butter. This tee is like butter! No joke. Made out of gooey textured cotton with an inside out neck binding, basic tee fit."
I would say that is an accurate description, the shirt is absolutely perfect.
Nation shirts are very basic, but exceptional in their quality. They normally go for upwards of $60 (yes, for a plain t-shirt), but I can say that I'd almost pay that much for one because they're so perfect. However, I've got three Nation shirts right now and have ordered two more (Shawn's also got one and one more on the way) and I think I managed to get all those for about the price of two retail. When their shirts go on sale they're discounted up to 70%, which is an amazing deal.
Really, some days there isn't much better than a soft, cute, comfy t-shirt.
