I'm on the centerline, right between two states of mind
Tomorrow evening Shawn and I are heading over to Neumos to see Bob Mould. I am so excited. From all the reviews I've read it seems as though he'll be doing a number of songs from my favorite Sugar album, Copper Blue. I've actually had quite the love/hate relationship with this album but in the end I can't deny the fact that it's musically exceptional. Definitely one of my favorite albums of all time. Shawn gave me a cassette of Copper Blue back in 1996 and from then on it's always reminded me of him. After Shawn and I lost contact with each other for a number of years I could barely even listen to it without being brought to tears. So, it's really exciting to me that I will be seeing Bob Mould doing songs from Copper Blue live, with Shawn. Never thought it would happen.Hopefully he'll do 'Hoover Dam'. *fingers crossed*
